Nickel Tape

Smart Glass Accessories' Nickel Tape is a flexible copper/nickel-coated conductive fabric tape. This tape is typically used to establish totally flat connections to smart film busbars. Unlike copper tape, which tears easily, this woven conductive nickel tape is stronger and more flexible.

SGA Nickel Tape consists of a polyester cloth that is coated with a fusion of copper and nickel metal. It also features an adhesive that is conductive, which provides electrical contact to surfaces or components without soldering. It IS NOT compatible with solder.

Run this tape from the Smart Film busbar to wherever it is more convenient to connect a physical wire lead.
